1 Cup White Rice (uncooked)
2 Cups Water
2 cubes Chicken Boullion or 2 tsp dried Chicken Soup Base
2 tsp Butter
1/3 Can Water Chestnuts (sliced then cut in strips)
2 stalks Celery
2 tbsp Chopped Onion
Salt and pepper to taste
Bring to boil the Water,Rice, Chicken Boullion, Onions and Butter. Turn down heat and cover with lid, let simmer 15 minutes stirring occasionally add a little more water for more tender rice. After 15 minutes take lid off and add diced and sliced Water Chestnuts and Celery for crunch. Serves 4
